With over just under 4 hours left in voting here are the results. It looks like MegaMan SF is selected by most as the MegaMan that would win in a fight to the death. No one gave MegaMan Volnutt from Legends a chance he would be the first to go. Then goes X then Classic Mega, leaving MegaMan.EXE to fight MegaMan SF who would beat him. The next poll question will deal with female sidekicks.

Incredible: Star Force 3 Continues Climbing the Sales Charts

MegaMan Star Force 3 continues to show that it is a great game to have. As of last week here in the US it sold an additional 19,000 copies (42,500 as of July 18th). The game places 18th now on the North American Charts, which is an 11 place jump from this point last week. This gives Capcom more momentum going into Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star and maybe a higher possibility of seeing Geo, Omega-Xis, Sonia, Lyra, and the rest of the gang in a 4th installment of the series.

A New Project for MegaMan- Capcom at Comic Con 09 (more news on new projects coming to celebrate his 25th Anniversary in 2012-2013)

I don't like to talk Comic Con usually, but I found out some interesting info while searching G4TV.com:

What's Next For MegaMan?

During a question and answer session with Capcom at Comic-Con 2009, a young kid declared he wanted to know what's next for Mega Man. Capcom tried to steer the kid towards Mega Man Star Force 3, but since the kid already owned that one, he wanted to know what was happening next.

Capcom community manager Seth Killian tried to answer best he could. Killian said Mega Man 9 was a "big surprise" to much of the company. Keiji Inafune, the man behind the blue bomber and a driving force for much of what Capcom develops these days, is the one who makes that decision.

"When Inafune-san wants to make a game happen he can really make it happy quickly," said Killian. "I think it's worth being hopeful."

While looking back at an old coro coro comics scan from January (the same that announced the Boss Contest that Clock Genesis won) I began to think that the possibility of seeing a MegaMan X9 seems very high. Most commenters on G4's site thinks so. What do you think the next "surprise" title is that Inafune-san has up his sleeves. MegaMan X9? MegaMan Legends 3? MegaMan Zero 5? Classic 10? ZX 3? StarForce 4? Battle Network 7? Another Crossover title like Rockman.EXE OSS? A whole new MegaMan series? Nothing seems impossible for the Blue Bomber anymore. Please give me your thoughts.

The January scan of Coro Coro Comics announcing a new Rockman game (which turned out to be Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star) and the Boss Contest that Clock Genesis eventually won. Featured "Rockmen" were Rockman.EXE (MegaMan.EXE), Rockman X (MegaMan X)(times 2) , and Ryuusei no Rockman (MegaMan SF). But did this also hint at an X game that would come later?

NBA Player Tribute Voting Contest To End Earlier Than Originally Said

The NBA Player Tribute Voting Contest Will end earlier than I expected. I have decided to end it because for the last couple of days there have been no votes so if you haven't voted yet, I am sorry at least for the moment. The main contest is over with Charles Barkley as the winner to the tune of Ness Lee's "I'm A Superstar". However we do have a tie for second place between Muggsy Bogues and Kevin Johnson. One of those two will get their tribute to Ty Jilla's "They Know Me". Please vote for your favorite of the two in the comment section. The voting will end wednesday. See you guys around.

Rumor: Rockman.EXE Stream going to be Fan Subbed (Finally)

I have been browsing the internet recently looking for episodes of Rockman.EXE that were fan-subbed in English. So far this is what I found:

-the first thirty three episodes of Rockman.EXE Axess (more to come as they finish)

-the first 19 episodes of Rockman.EXE Beast (more to come as the finish)

So far I have been unsuccessful in finding Legit subbed episodes of Rockman.EXE Stream (season 4). FAQCorner has tried to sub them but translations were off and they quit after 4 and a half episodes. FAQCorner also no longer exists. So I have been trying to see if other fan subbing operations were going to sub the show. Now ladies and gentlemen I think I found an operation that will start releasing episodes of Rockman.EXE Stream. According to reports DATS Productions has started working on edits for the very popular series and will post episode one within the next two months. Check them out at http://dats.us for more information. From my knowledge we could be seeing the anime in only english at the moment.

Here is something we didn't see in Star Force 3: The Unreleased Noise (this is real)

Here it is people, Something taken away from both the Japanese and English Versions of MegaMan Star Force 3. This is an unreleased noise because of bugs it caused in the early stages of game development. Here is an early sketch drawing of that Noise. Its called Lyra Noise (Harp Noise in Japan). This was supposed to be obtained in a special way, completing Sonia's request and battling Harp Note three times. Originally Harp Note was slated to be a boss. I would have loved to play Sonia in this game (because Bud sucks) and obtain this noise. This noise was going to be stronger that all other noises except for Rogue Noise (and obviously Black Ace and Red Joker). It would have had the ability of paralysis and the breaking of barriers/shields/invis. The charge shot would have been Shock Note with an ATK of 80 (plus paralysis). All normal cards would also get ATK +40. This most likely ended up being the reason for bugs thus the calling off of this noise form. But why take out the Harp Note battle cards? We will never know.

Something I found out in MegaMan Star Force 2

I found out something yesterday while looking for cipher codes for MegaMan Star Force 2. Apparently you can become bros with your other profile (the data 2 of your game). To do that:

1. Go to the Network Menu

2. Then go to Nintendo WFC Menu

3. Go to Friend Code Invite Menu

4. Delete your Auto Brother

5. Enter your other profiles FC (do not connect to wifi yet)

6. Exit out, then save.

7. Reset the DS

8. Go to your other data file

9. Complete steps 1-4 in that exact order.

10. Enter your other profiles fc and connect to wifi.

11. Congrats on the new brotherband.

12. Exit and save.

13. Reset the DS

14. Go back to your first data and connect.

15. Congrats you have now replaced your weak auto brother with a stronger more balanced brother.

Rumor: The Title for the New Season of Rockman.EXE

Earlier today I recorded a rumor given from a Japanese Friend that talked about there being a 7th season of Rockman.EXE. In the last few minutes was given the title of the Rumored anime. The title is- Rockman.EXE: Master of Time.

What does this title suggest? Is this a real anime or just some bogus crap? Give me your opinion.

Me, I think its bogus.

"Fusion Cards" in Operate Shooting Star

This months Coro Coro had some vague info on this game one of which was the introduction of "fusion cards". Could this mean Cross Fusion? Below is a scanned copy of that page, which also mentions "The Return of the Legendary EXE 1 to the DS". This info is very vague but next month we will know a lot more. When I find out any more info from reliable sources (Capcom, The MegaMan Network, Protodude, the Saito Network, etc.) I will let you know. I don't know much Japanese, and if you know I missed something, please let me know. Feel free to comment on this, as it would be greatly appreciated.

Rumor: Rockman.EXE Coming Back for a Seventh Season?

My Japanese friend told me a couple days ago that Shokugan, XEBEC, and Capcom were in talks about bringing back the Rockman.EXE anime series for at least one more season. This season would celebrate the return of Rockman.EXE in the video game Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star. The show would revert most likely back to the 30 minute format (ie. 24 minute episodes) due to the drop in ratings of the 10 minute show Beast+ back in 06 (still successful but very unconstructed storyline- 3 in 26 ten minute episodes). The show would most likely involve at least two characters from Ryuusei no Rockman, Hoshikawa Subaru (Geo Stelar) and War-Rock (Omega-Xis). Though I think an anime series is highly unlikely, the idea of seeing Netto (Lan), Meiru (Maylu), Enzan (Chaud), and the rest of the gang, as well as Crossfusion, again would be cool. What do you guys think?

Will our favorite crossfusion heroes (Netto, Enzan, Raika, and Meiru) return for a seventh season? I think not, but you never know.

MegaMan Star Force 3 Sales plus interesting MegaMan series lists

In a collective effort MegaMan Star Force 3 Black Ace/Red Joker sold over 23,7oo units since it was released on June 30th. The game is placed 29th on the video game charts. SF3 is off to a great start selling fast in its first few weeks (almost full month now). What does this mean for Capcom, as in the second week of sales this title has brought $14,000 to the company the most by a megaman title since the Battle Network series. Does that officially mean that Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star is guaranteed for a US release or that Capcom is willing to make a Star Force 4 (Star Force 4 is not recommended, unless they can extend the series with a solid finish to the storyline).

The Rumored Release Date for Operate Shooting Star

Another update for this game title is that the release date in Japan is going to be September 16th 2009. Also of course the enemy is World 3 (WWW) and the Final Boss is still unknown, but it could be the LifeVirus or Clock Genesis. What do you think of the game please give your opinion.

Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star is a Battle Network Rockman.EXE 1 Remake

News on this game has started to officially come in for the Ryuusei no Rockman and Rockman.EXE Crossover. The game was confirmed by producer Takeshi Horinouchi as a Battle Network 1 Remake with something extra. The teaser site for the game was opened on Wednesday with a special announcement from Horinouchi-san:

" As we head towards Rockmans 25th anniversary, we are beginning to work on various projects, both big and small, thinking of what activities wed like to work on. And though the Rockman EXE series ended three years ago, were receiving a strong sentiment from everyone saying We want EXE! So, we the development team are thinking of this splendid title Rockman EXE: Lets try doing something again That is, I myself wanted to see Rockman EXE and Netto one more time. Therefore, our next title is such. This games inspiration is actually a celebratory image drawn by the designer for Rockmans 20th anniversary. From that time, Id secretly been thinking In time we should try something neat with EXE and Ryuusei. Thus, our next project Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star has come to be started. Essentially, this is a Rockman EXE 1 remake for the DS, porting it and adding something extra. You the fans may be wondering, what sort of theme comes with combining EXE and Ryuusei? This is something that EXE fans of course, and Ryuusei fans as well, will enjoy. Details will be published the middle of next month, so please wait a little longer.
